Yadavs in Politics

1. Yadavs have been very active in Politics. There has been 13 different chief ministers of different states who were Yadavs. Laloo Prasad Yadav and Mulayam singh Yadav became chief Ministers for two or more terms.

2. Ram Baran Yadav is the President of Nepal.

3. Aniruddha Jagannath was Prime Minister and President of Mauritius.

4. Mulayam Singh Yadav was the Defense Minister of India.

5. Lalu Prasad Yadav was Railway Minister of India. He is credited to have helped Railways become a profit making body, otherwise Railways have always been a loss making body.

6. Chowdhary Brahma Prakash has the Distinction of Being the Youngest Chief Minister ever, when he became Chief minister of Delhi at age of 31.

Yadavs in Spirituality

1. There have been many Spiritual Leaders who are Yadavs like Baba Jaigurudev, Sri Aurbindo, Baba Ramdev, Sathya Sai Baba, Baba Khetanath.



Yadavs in Army

1. Rezang La. In 1962 war against China, 120 Ahirs fought like tigers against an army of more than 1000 chinese men. Every single soldier fought till the last Breath. This is the single greatest bravery incident in the history of Indian Army. After this battle many army leaders have called for an Ahir Regiment.

2. Yogender Singh Yadav, recieved Param Veer Chakra, in the 1999 Kargil War against Pakistan. He single handedly captured Tiger Hill. He was hit with 15 bullets, and one arm of his got broken. He is a living legend.

3. Babru Bhan Yadav recieved Maha Vir Chakra in the 1971 Indo-Pak War.
