Introduction
1. Professor Yogendra Singh Yadav is an Indian social scientist who has become involved in politics as co-founder of the Aam Aadmi Party.
2. His areas of academic interest include democratic theory, election studies, survey research, political theory, modern Indian political thought and Indian socialism.
3. Yogendra Singh Yadav was appointed as a member of the National Advisory Council for the implementation of the Right to Education Act in 2010.
4. He was appointed a Senior Fellow at the Centre for the Study of Developing Societies in 2004.
5. In 2011 he took part in the nationwide anti-corruption protests and later co-founded Aam Aadmi Party
6. In 2008 he was awarded with Malcolm Adiseshiah Award for Development Studies.
7. In 2009 he was awarded with Global South Solidarity Award by The International Political Science Association in recognition of outstanding work on the politics of the developing world"
