Introduction

PransukhYadavKnightCorrect 1. Pransukh Yadav was born in 1802 in a Hindu Yadav family. He was a Big Built guy with over 6' Feet height.

2. He was a trusted soldier of Hari singh nalwa and Maharaja Ranjeet Singh.

3. Pransukh Yadav was such a brave soldier, that Hari Singh Nalwa took him in his direct command when pransukh was only 17 years of age, i.e. when they ended Muslim rule of over 500 years in Kashmir in 1819. Nalwa was so impressed by Pransukh that he kept pransukh under his direct command in majority of his military career.

4. Even in the famous battle of Mangal, where Sikh army of 7000 defeated army of 25000 enemy tribals, it was the bravery of Pransukh that made Nalwa to accept Pransukh as one of his favorite soldier. Sikhs lost around 2000 soldiers in that battle. Nalwa and Pransukh were the two heroes of that battle.

5. It is said that Pransukh alone amounted to killing of more than 100 enemy soldiers.

6. After Death of Hari Singh Nalwa, Pransukh became one of the Prime Fighter and Commander in Sikh Army, and in Both First and Second Anglo Sikh wars, he led units of soldiers who gave rear support to the advancing front soldier units.

7. Pran Sukh Yadav was angry with the way second Anglo Sikh War ended, as despite giving a hard time to the britishers they lost, because the sikh army didn't get support from the public. He took this defeat to heart, and started preparing for a mutiny against the britisher, which he got to execute in Nasibpur revolt.

8. In the Ahirwal 1857 revolt of Nasibpur against britishers, Pransukh Yadav fought alongside Rao Tularam, and was instrumental in making fighting formations. That's the reason that heavily armed British Army lost more than 70 of soldiers, including their famed commander Gerrard.

9. After the Nasibpur Battle He settled at Village Nihalpura, now in Alwar District of Rajasthan, along with the kins of dead soldiers who died fighting with the Britishers at Nasibpur.

10. Later in his life he got involved with the Arya Samaj movement after meeting Swami Dayananda Saraswati.

11. He died in 1888 at the age of 86 years.
