Introduction

1. Ram Naresh Yadav (born 1 July 1928) is an Indian politician, who was Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh from 1977 to 1979.

2. He was from Janata Party; later he joined the Congress.

3. He was appointed Governor of Madhya Pradesh on 26 August 2011 by President Pratibha Patil and was sworn into office on 8 September 2011.

4. He was born on 1 July 1928 at Azamgarh in Uttar Pradesh.

5. He was a successful lawyer in Azamgarh court. He was close to socialist leader Raj Narain, he was interested in social work and joined politics.

6. He entered the Lok Sabha in 1977.
